Okay, First thanks to Project Contender for supplying me with a good powerhead for a great price. I took Dillon (Hotshot) and Dennin (Delta Dennin) all over the country to get this finished AND
WE DONE IT, turning 5,500 w/ a wee 21 3 blade Cleaver
Check it out, getting ready

A lot of fun for a little Delta. Anyone got any ideas on trim, except for the champ style ???

If that engine is a 3 cly. 65 merc, A trim system from a inline will work perfect If it has a stock center section with the shocks on the sides of the clamps . Looks great by the way , I love small boats .:D

that is cool. Glad she runs decent on that little hull !!
Here'sa trim system that I found, actually used it for dry starting a merc 700x. pump up and release down. It's a regular shock (drilled and tapped) mounted in the normal place, with a hand pump.

That last statement could be wrong as I think the shocks are longer when the motor is down. ????

The inline trim will work with the 65 hp 3cycl. I have a complete system I used in my garage. I can take some pics if you want. You'll need the two rams, and a trim pump. You can find this setup pretty cheap if ya buy a blown motor with it. Delta looks good:D

That boat looks great and has to be a lot of fun. Fortunately, you guys are light in the butt. Put mine in there and it wouldn't be so much fun.:(

I took little HotShot out first w/ me. Killed the performance, but alot of fun. Harder to get on plane w/ my butt hangin' in there...lol Them little suckers are LIGHT:eek:
I think I have the mariner bracket off a 20" unit, but I think the shorty mid won' bolt up to it. This is a shorty unit on here and they never came with trim. 20" & 25" did....
