ok.. I got my boat in the water and ran it yesterday. i know I am running the engine rich for breakin. Maybe way to rich. Really a stock 2.4 motor with all chrome with just the casting marks cleaned up. but I am running a wh-20 carbs with 80 and 82 jets. Well my quesiton is will being to rich cause the motor to be louder then normal. I do have a offshore exhaust so I know that is will be loud but it is much louder then any other motors than I have been around. I figure that becuse the motor is so rich that I am hearing the flame comming out of the ports.. Any ideas?? I still have ringing in my ears from boating yesterday.
