I want to get up there again when I get some vacation time built back up. Joy and I were bouncing around the idea of going to Jasper next year. Can't do it this year too much going on down here to swing the trip. Maybe we could do Lake Robinson or Lake Murray in the spring and Jasper in the fall. We'll see. Sure would be cool though.

I was just proud to see you come back to the ramp with a smile on your face. As for me....Scared.....yea, I was scared you would tear your chit up if you followed me out into the deep. DEAN can confirm. There was no one riding next to me on the way over....but the line was over a mile long....and I had my kids with me to boot. Lee Dashiell's daughter ( 7 years old ) had to make an emergency trip to the hospital yesterday. Needless to say, Lee was at the Hospital all night with his daughter. Fortunately all is well and his daughter is making a speedy recovery.

Tapes are going out. I have not had time to compress the video and have just had a full plate since we got back.

Emma had an emergency appendectimy last week and is recovering very well. They removed her appendics laproscopically and she will be glad to tell you all about it next time you see her. lol. Anyway, she's doing well. Thanks for your concerns.

Glad to hear that Emma is doing fine. I enjoyed meeting your family, and all the other great people there. Hope we can get together on Lake Keowee next year for some boating. I would like to see some interest in fast boats on this lake. Lets keep that in mind. It is a nice lake with plenty of quite coves, and enough open water for some fast runs. There are several campgrounds on the lake, and motels not far from the water.

I don't need a copy. I was there. There was too much crap talking about it anyway, that I didn't find too funny. Mostly by people that couldn't outrun Sammy if their life depended on it.

Michael handled it with way more grace than the wanna be's, and he was the guy with the fast boat. Kudos to you, Michael. You are a class act.

I missed the race too. I would love to see the video. Sammy is a great guy, just met him there. I didn't meet the guy he raced, I don't think. Someone is going to lose in every race. That is why it is a race. It just makes the guy that lost, try harder next time. It should be only in fun.
Someone posted on this same forum, that they were only coming for the racing. I hope they saw the race. They were going to cancel their room, if there wasn't any racing. I had a good time except for the wipe out. You shouldn't run a boat on vodaka, it's not safe for the occupants. Won't happen again, unless it is under 50 mph. I learned a good lesson, and I am not new to fast boats.
