Tachs on ebay

I was browsing around e-bay trying to stay off my ankel while it heals looking for parts for my boat and I saw this.. This guy is selling 8 Merc 10K Tachs for a starting bid of $50 each.. Thougt it was a good deal that should be passed along.

Wasn't that the guy everybody was chasing down because he was taking peoples money and parts? Maybe not, but I thought it was called North Georgia Marine or something. Ebay offers some protection but not much. Someone else probably knows more about this.

i bought a new 10k tach from my merc dealer for $50. i think this just goes to show what kind of markup they usuallly have on these or merc must have had a special on them.

There are a ton of them floating around. The last two I bought (brand new in the box) were less than 50 bucks. Not a bad deal but mot such a great deal @ 50 bucks. If you need one I will let one go for $40.00. Keeping at least one as a shop tach.

Yes indeed this is the fellow everyone was looking for about a year ago. My uncle had some dealing with this fellow on an inline that ended in litigation also.
