I have tried every thing to make heat in my 2.4. (all types of combos.)

I can't make enough heat to even open the thermo's, I am still running the poppet.

If I take the thermo's out and run washers with 1/8 - 3/16 holes will I make more heat..........or less??

The only thought so far that makes sence is that I have an internal, (mid plate) leak, and am flowing to much water through the motor.

I run around 120* (head temp) on both heads, when I slow down after a run, and idle in gear for a while, I can make almost enough to open the thremo, but just barely.

what say ya'll??

Thanks,

John

I say ride it or sell it to me! <grin> I think it runs just perfect!

You did a good job building it, now let me buy you a beer in a couple hours when I get to the river this afternoon. (should be there around 630)

My Captain Morgan stance isnt so upright.

Its usually either kneeling over the toilet on all 4's praying to the porcelain gods, or laying on my back with my eyes shut in drunken stupor.
