SOB in Brick,NJ

How come there were no SOB class boats theis past weekend in Brick NJ. Has the class died before it ever started? Hope it surfaces in the next race!

This past weekend there was a sanctioned event in Brick( Point Pleasant) I went to see the SOB Class. There were a few P-5's but there didn't seem to be any SOB's. Intimidator had their 30' model but I didnt see the long awaited 21 outboard. I really went to see these SOB with the intent of perhaps running one in the future. They run this race in the ocean and as many know, the mighty Atlantic can be pretty nasty at that inlet.
