i was wondering what engine that makes high power would be very reliable and low maintance?
300x / 300 pro max help me out?

From what I have seen, and heard, the 300 ProMax AND the 300X are about at reliable as it gets for High Performance engines. But regular maintenance and careful attention to rigging detail, quality of fuel and oil, and just plain common sense in how you run it, will greatly extend the life of ANY performance outboard.;)

Yamaha 300 Vmax HPDI:cool: then a 3.1L 250 Vmax Ox66 then a JohnRude 225HO...
If you wanted 260 or 280 hp....Merc it is!:D
