Is there a Torque setting for prop nuts?

Does anyone no if Mercury set a Torque setting for prop nuts?

Factory Service Manual for the Merc V-6 Lower Unit specifies Prop Nut Torque as 55 ft. lbs. minimum. I have torqued them to this value for 14 years. Have not lost one yet. Hope this helps.

When I purchased my Mazco RE3 they wanted 80-100ft/lbs. Thought was kinda a lot so I never went that tight! Stuck with Mercs 55
