Got my new puter :D

got all the volume settings all the way up but isnt loud at all, very low at max settings

went through the settings and the equalizer and the settings on the windows media player

what should i look in to?

do i need an amp?

my old one was loud, maybe i'll hook it up on the other desk for music?

are you running amplified speakers or no? meaning do ya gotta plug your speakers into power for them to work? if not, then you may not have a sound card with a amp in it.. like mine, doesnt have an amp in it, it makes for a cleaner sound... get a set of amplified speakers and i think youll be ok
