What are the fittings called on the trim ram called-type? I want to eliminate the rubber hoses and run my SS braid hoses directly to them. They had adapters to connect to the rubber stock hoses and don't thread fit the ram. Not sure of the SS hose ends either.
My hoses are way longer than needed. Can I shorten them and field install new ends?

What is the fitting on the fuel rail called? Need a Tee for pressure sender.
Any way of determining the different fittings? AN, compression, NPT...?
Does the high pressure line from - to the fuel rail need crimped ends or is there a user installed deal that can be used? And should it be used?

Would using metal tubing to connect the fuel system together be a good or bad idea? it will all be mounted to the same board.
Or just use rubber hose between them? Vibration?

The fittings on the trim ram are double flare hydraulic fittings. The trim hoses can be shortened and new ends put on by any hydraulic repair shop. Doing it yourself can be a problem if you don't get them sealed tight enough.

SS braided hose on an EFI engine is a bad idea. It tends to act like an antenna for RF noise from ignition, soleniods, etc. Remember that you are using a MAGNETO for charging and ignition output, and this is a BIG source of RF.

The inlet to the fuel rail uses standard AN thread fittings. The restrictor fitting on the fuel rail crossover line can be drilled opposite the Schrader valve to mount a small quick disconnect fitting for your fuel pressure line. Run this line into the boat and connect it to a pressure sensor for your elect. gauge.

The return line from the fuel rail/pressure regulator can be held in place with a simple hose clamp.

I would not suggest using metal tubing on the fuel system, the chances for crack developing are too great.

Just my .02, but I hope it helps.

Thanks.
Don't have a schrader valve just a rubber hose running from fuel rail to bottom of regulator. Figure to get a tee for the input to the rail.

The SS hoses are only the trim lines and don't go near the engine. IF I get the cowl done this should be a good shield. Carbon.
Probably just leave them too long.
