F1 To North America

Practice starts today in Montreal. Next stop is next weekend (June 19/20) in INDY!!!
Can finally get live races w/o being up at 3am.

It's sunny and 70 degrees here! Off to the track we go. That pic is the Senna curve I believe. I'm sitting at the other end in the hairpin. MS was fastest in the morning practice but had a small incident with the wall in the afternoon. Sato fastest in the afternoon but still slower than the morning times. They have a series going here called the historical F1 that is really interesting. Big slicks, small front wheels, sweet sounding motors, lots of passing. Lots of fun to watch.

make an effort. I'll probably pic up a couple of the official T-shirts. If you're interested I'll send you one at whatever my cost is. My friends went wild over the ones I brought back from Monaco. Could have brought back a whole suitcase of them and if wouldn't have been enough.

Snowmanmtl, I'll take you up on the apparel deal if you can find a Montreal Grand Prix ladies sunvisor, or a ladies Mclaren sun visor.
Mrs. SMS wants a new visor (she doesn't like ball caps) to wear to Indy next week. We're leaving thurs 6/17 so if you find one send me a PM and we'll get you paid and decide how to get it in time.

Although Ralf doesn't believe his car is 1 second faster then the Ferrari. I'm on a streak, every time I have gone to an F1 race this year Ferraris lost!
sms I'll have a look tomorrow. PM me you address. I'm on the track Mon - Wed but, there is an hour and a half lunch break that I can probably use to send it.
Mclaren should be no problem. Anything Trulli is gone.

Brian,
If you see this before you leave, don't forget friday's Ferrari events downtown.
At 3:30 pm about 100 F-cars leave the Zoo parking lot on the west side of downtown, and travel in a caravan to the circle. Then on display and hanging out until 8 pm or so.
