VP leaded race gas splash

In my 280, I've been running VP 110 octane race gas, leaded, splashed in a ratio of 5 gallons race to 20 gallons 91 premium unleaded. (1:5?) 25 gallons total.

Is it going to hurt my motor or be detrimental in any way, to run this percentage of leaded gas?

Leaded gas will not hurt an outboard.

Thanks. I had wondered because the owner's manual says Mercury does not recommend the use of leaded fuel. Maybe it's a "green" thing.
