looks like 2stokes arent "simple" any more!!! that thing looks pretty cool, i herd they were around 500lbs, which is kinda heavy but still alot lighter then the verado!:)

how about some performance figurs?

Voice coil powered injectors! If you put a Fosgate 500W amp on it how much power will you pick up? :D

Nice to be able to "see" the spark plugs!:D

So I wonder how long it takes to remove and then re-install the cowlings? And could one do it on the water? Oops....I forgot, these engines don't require ANY service for 3 years;)

Just like the 3.3 liter FICHTs, the E-Tec looks expensive to make and assemble with all those parts all over the place. For a comparison, look at the Yamaha HPDI. It looks a lot cleaner, which usually means less expensive to make. Then again, maybe Bomb can make the injectors very cheaply and be competitive thanks to that.

Around 500lb :eek:

With all that stuff bolted on to it, it's got to weigh a lot more than 500.

A 300X is over 520 according to guys that have put them on a scale.

Over 550lb ?? :confused:

Other than that it looks like a helluva motor. :cool:
