Again, we're off to a late start, but with racing starting on the 31st (first two weeks are non-point weeks), I've spoken with Rick Kozan and Bill Gohr and it looks like we're going to do inspection (for Lake Racer Class) and weigh in (for Lake Racer and ProGas) starting this Thursday and every Thursday until racing starts. After the 31st, it will be by appointment only.

This won't take long, but it's necessary. The rules are the same as last year other than:

Weight in the ProGas class has dropped by 50 pounds - to 1350 for ProGas motors and 1300 for Modified Production motors.

Additional weights and motors are allowed to run in Lake Racer. Like last year, Super Stock legal 260 motors run at 1600 pounds and 260s with 140 lb. of compression, bored airhorns (3.5" max), light flywheels and spacers run at 1650. Full bolt-on 260s (SVS, Any compression, no porting or grinding) run at 1750, Mod. Production Airhorn motors (and OMC/Yamaha Mod Production legal motors) run at 1850, and everything else runs at 1950.

E-mail me at rbakerjr@scaryfast.com or call me at: 847-740-9773 (home), 847-320-7044 (work), or 847-533-9773 (Cell) if you have any questions. We'd like to split this among a couple of groups so there isn't a lot of waiting around, etc.

Thanks.
