Exhaust tuner gasket ?

Is it necessary to have a gasket on the exhaust tuner where it bolts up to the exhaust plate. If it were not there could it cause water ingestation into each bank of cylinders?

It will depend on the machined surface of your exhaust plate and of your tuner. High performance models do not use a gasket but the motors with 2 piece exhaust plates use one...and a gasket between the leg and the exhaust plate.
