I wanted to let everybody know a couple of things.
Frist, is that we aren't able to accept credit card from out of the country unless your in Canada or computer connected to the states to run address Verication. This is something I have been fighting with since we went to our new processing company. I really dislike this sitution but I don't have any choice. If I run these card, I take the risk of having all funds held for up to 10 days during the time it takes to clear the amount. (By all funds I mean any transaction I run after I run the credit card in question). I have been searching for a way around this and have come up with three options. Frist option is Paypal. This is international and they are in several dozen countries. For the countries that Paypal isn't available or for customer who don't want to use paypal. We can do wire transfers. Another option is bank money orders. Customers with smaller orders may be better going this route since wire transfer can cost as much as the parts do. The bank should be able to do the money conversion to american. I want to state again that we are seriously unhappy with this limition.
The second thing is for anybody ordering on the website. when you get to shipping, it will gave you the option of ups or postal service. The postal service option is for any product going out of the country. They have the best rates for the distances. All items going out of the country I ship myself. Customer in the usa are shipped by ups. We have most all the products dropped shipped and this is the shipping company that most manufactors use. To ship postal I have to have it shipped to me and then ship it out to the customer. This causes a double shipping charge.
I didn't like having to post this here for it is business related but I have been unable to figure out how to post this on the website and I thought to reach as many of our customer as possible. I still have some program work to be done on the site to adjust it to fit our needs. It is a slow progress.
:(
