Would it work if its mounted under the dash,wheres a good place.

yes but try it first unmounted because sometimes there might be something in the deck that could block the signal.I have mine mounted under the dash of my stoker and it works fine,~cept the boat`s not fast enough!!!!!!!!!

If you have a friend with a handheld GPS, you can use one of those to see what kind of signal you get under your deck. As long as there isn't metal in the paint/deck, it should read fine.

I just tested mine Monday, and it read as many satellites under the deck as above, so the antenna is getting hidden. :)

The guys at Nordskog actually said they have used their antenna inside of a car, worked fine. I had mine mounted upside down under my deck. No problem!!!!:)

I used to use them a lot. In most vehicles it would work on the dash but not under the roof. They usually work under a glass moonroof ok. Try it and see.
