Picked up my motot today and was curious as to how the sterring would hook up. Here are some pics that i took as i think the brackets i have are for merc while i have a omc v-4. Please tell me what parts i need to get this dual steering to work on here. Thanks

Don't have a heart attack. The posted price is retail, your S&F price would be significantly lower. http://rickracers.com/product_info.php?cPath=124_604_615_616&products_id=2746

Thanks quick, I will keep that in my options. Any other suggestions. Also why is the one kit on the website 270 and the other 80 bucks?

the one rick has allows you to run the steering cables in differen directions... so like theres 1 calbe going down each side of the boat.. and the one for 80 you have to run both cables down the same side.

The one that Rick posted IS for cables on the same sides. Rick's one includes the link arm the $80 does not include the link arm, I would have thought that $160 for a link arm is too much. but then maybe I am missing something, I hope not 'couse I just ordered the $80 one
Can someone clarify (Rick ?? )

I'm also very curious about that.

...and has two link arms, go figure. The same side one is $216 S&F price. Decent steering link arms are usually $60 to $80, but your existing one would probably work. That's a great price on that kit, but it looks like you'll have to take the tilt tube out to mount it. All we sell at the present time is T&R, but we are definitely open to more suppliers. Anyone know what brand those are?
Edit: Looks like it is T&R, and we had it on the site already. I don't remember seeing it in the book though. Barb is turning into a website and parts wizard. Crossing that number I came up with this , http://rickracers.com/product_info.php?products_id=2733
$80 S&F price, no make that $78, I wanna sell you a steering bracket. :D :D :D Seriously though, let us know if we can help.
