ok im brain storming im new to all this so bear with me im thinking about getting a hull at a locale marina he has a few there that he will sell cheap what can i expect when i or if i take on this project and how much could a expect to pay around i see that there alot of goodies here to be bought and i have a few friends that would be willing to help me out thanks for any feed back :D

I would say that is your best bet.. Hulls can be found cheap then you can rebuild it to what YOU want. We have done that to every single one of our boats that we tow with. And I'm doing that now with my critchfield. I'm tearing everything out and rebuilding it will all composite materials. As for cost it is really not that bad unless you go with all high end composites and epoxy resins. If you rebuild with wood and polyester resins it will be fairly cheap but a bit heavier and will be prone to rot in a couple years. As for a dollar amount I'm expecting to pay around $1000 doing my critch using composites and epoxy resins but the boat is a one seater and very simple in design. For a more faimly use boat I would expect cost could go as much as $2000 for parts depending on what all you build into the boat. But in the end you know what you have and you know that it can handle the power that you put on the back. and save some money.
