Has anyone tried to make the conversion from lazer inj. to a airhorn without changing the front half of the block? Will the reed plate from a 260 bolt to a 225 Promax front? If so I will need a adapter plate to hold the injectors in front of the reeds and also mount the airhorn to it?Give me some ideas. Thanks:confused:

You can go with carbs on a 225 pm front half but not a horn. You need a horn front half.

i've been both ways and based just from what i've seen first hand you'll be very dissapointed in the performance of the horn verses a properly set-up lazer unit , and unless youv'e replaced the cast pistons and are not turning it over 7500 rpm that horn will kill it. If you can spend around $1200 get a mad efi intake from taylor marine , its a direct bolt on and has provisions for the injectors , and it will perform better than the lazer and horn.
Good luck , TB
