How can you tell the difference between the looper and the cross flow.60 and 90 degree looper is that the distance from each head:confused:

loopers are flat on the pisyon and crossflows have the hump on the top of the piston. I don't think they've made any cross flows in a while either. most of the looper heads are kind of flat as well with slight angle cuts to give a curve effect and crossflows have a doughnut around the spark plug. what model do you have?
the 60 and 90 degree is the angle of the V in the block. the 150 and 175 loopers are 60 degree the 200, 225 and 250 are 90 degree. also the V-4 loopers 130-140 are 90 degree. i think the only crossflows still made are the small V-4 like the 90-115 's

Also they never made a 60 degree cross flow in production. If its a 60 degree motor its a looper.
