I gotta say Jay is one of the coolest guys I've ever dealt with.

I ordered his Christams Special on the flywheel puller, and as everyone knows, he was, and apparently still is, having supplier problems.

I got the puller and the T-Shirt and cap he sent for being patient with his problems. However, I couldn't find the bearing that contacts the crankshaft. I sent him an E-Mail and he has called me three times today trying to get it all straight. More supplier problems. He is sending another puller, I think second day. I sent that one back to him.

He kept insisting on refunding my postage to send it back. I don't really expect or want him to. He even offered to throw in a TDC gauge to make up for the trouble. Fortunately for him, I already have one. Another slick tool.

The thing is, he is about the most concientuous guy I've ever dealt with and he's also a blast to talk to on the phone.

Jay is good people.

Hmmmm.
I ordered my flywheel puller/lifting ring the first of Dec., last year and finally got it about three or so weeks ago. I didn't even get a kiss much less a tee shirt. ;)

You're right though Gaineso, it's a slick, solid built piece and up to years of abuse, mis-use and neglect.

I've heard that if you get a kiss from Jay Smith your mercury runs better for some reason, it could be a rumor but it is worth checking in to.
