We're in Georgia on some remote lake ;)

The water was perfect today. Ronnie will make his debut on TV at 105 mph. Helmut was running an easy 112 mph with a cameraperson aboard.

Did I say TV? Did I say camera? Whoops!

Yesterday and today, some of the best(and wildest) video footage of high performance boating has been captured. We were on the water for over 16 hours of constant taping.

I have to say,

This was in no way a contest. Everything performed was in a controlled environment, with cooperation from law enforcement as well. This was a professional undertaking, so no other boaters were present on the lake. It was only us, for safety reasons. Lifeline vests and helmets were mandatory.

Some fantastic scenes were captured on video, and some of the best high-speed driving I have ever seen in my life. Everything was a complete success.

Most of what was captured was video - I do not have many photos.

We're all wiped out, and the boats (and drivers) were worked very hard.

KEWL imho the virage is one of the awesomest looking hydrostreams ever made. not a "classic" look, but one that was distinctly a stream. i have always wanted a virage... that baby ought to fly with 300 ponies!

I say that's Raceman in one of Jay's shirts. At first glance I thought it was the short little stump himself. Then I thought for a while and realized he couldn't find his way from TX to GA without Kathy guiding him all the way. Well, the final cut is for television. We'll be able to get some stuff on the Internet though.

All video was shot in 16:9 widescreen format, in high resolution. It's the best high-speed boat footage you'll ever see!

We spent over 16 hours on the water filming many takes... It was a very busy week.

From insane top speed passes to Helmut pulling 4-G turns with me in the boat, it was incredble. Tony Brucato ripped out a few 100 mph passes as well!

We subjected the boats (and ourselves) to some pretty harsh action...

Trikki, Helmut's boat is awsome. That's the only way to describe it. I'm sure they're gonna do a feature on the upgrades, but didn't devote much time to that particular issue here.

Fly, I asked Ronnie why he wasn't all pissed off about the blown engine and having to pull it out at night, outside and put the new one in at a parking lot the next morning. He said because he's got you to take it out on when he gets home and he's savin' it all up.:eek:

if you want a set its $350 plus shipping, you can have red metalic or blue. my uncle made them so let me know if you want any :) the set is the 2 sides, a front cover piece and a back decal also. there printed on the vinal so is only one sheet, not layers.

The selection of the boats/people was a difficult process. There were many factors considered for the decision, but essentially, it just so happens that the boats that were used had Mercury engines. The goal was to depict this kind of high performance boating and the interaction between driver and machine - it wasn't a show about boat engines.

It's really that simple :)

No, we didn't run any big numbers, just 120's. The water was white cappin' the first day and we put it on the trailer after about 10 gallons.

I appreciate the patience on shipping. The last week has been a nightmare, trying to get the TV stuff put together, while being short a couple of people at work. Probably another week before I'm all caught up and things are back to normal.
