I was thinking of making a Top plate for my transom like the ones hydrostream sells as my second cnc project for school. I was wondering if someone might be able to give me some dimensions to get started on this.

Thanks

Bryan

Thanks. for the drawing, just what i was looking for

I have one more question, is the big one for the top and the small one for the bottom bolts, and can i use stainless steel instead
thanks again

Ya, the big one goes across the top and the smaller goes across the bottom. As far as bolts go, I know the ones that Mercury sells are stainless, but I don't know the grade..........
Remember to put liberal amounts of anti-sieze on stainless hardware when putting them together too.

Are you looking for a transome top plate like this one?

Stainless would work, but is not necessary. You are adding strength to wood and fiberglass, not holding a bridge together, LOL.
