Greetings ,
The CT River Run will be held on OCT 20 2001 (rain date Oct 21)
We will be launching at Haddam Meadows State Park on RT 154 in Haddam , CT.
We'd like you to show up at 8 am and be prepared to launch between 9:30 and 10 am .
If you have any problems or will be a little late call Rich at 860-214-1667 or Warren at 860-608-9900 .
Be sure to bring vests , beverages , and FUEL . Some guys put on 80 miles last year ! I used 26 gallons in '99 .
Please call or e-mail me by Friday Oct 19 if you will be coming . We'll need a head count for pizza .

DIRECTIONS FROM HARTFORD AND NORTH
Take I-91 South
Take Exit 22 S to RT 9 South (a left lane exit)
Take Exit 10 off of RT 9
At the light at the end of the ramp take a right onto RT 154 South
Stay on RT 154 for 4.5 miles
Take a left into Haddam Meadows State Park (small sign)
Bear right and follow the access road to the ramp
DIRECTIONS FROM NEW HAVEN AND SOUTH
Take I-95 North
Take Exit 69 onto RT 9 North
Take Exit 7 off of RT 9 (This exit ramp is a couple of miles long)
At the light take a left onto RT 154 North
Stay on RT 154 for 4.2 miles
Take a right into Haddam Meadows State Park (small sign)
Bear right and follow the access road to the ramp
