We take cash or checks made out to Alzheimer's Association at our part of it. At Merc for the clothes, etc you can use cash, checks, or Credit Cards.
Glad ya can make it up that soon. Hope Sara can get her soon too.

Balzy forgot to tell you this morning but I have another donation for you. I bought a Lord of the Rings action figure for the boy for his birthday and it didn't arrive in time so I reassigned it as a Christmas present and it didn't arrive in time so I assigned it as a general when he does something good I'll reward him type present.
Well it finally showed up in March and I still have it. :( I would rather it raise a little cash for alzheimers than wait for hell to freeze over when my stepson acts his age not his shoe size.
It cost $30 or $40 dollars and these things are real popular with the kids so hopefully some of you boaters have deserving kids who would like a Lord of the Rings Orc and Balrog (I think) action toy. :D
I bet Balzy or Sleeve buys it and claims its for a nephew but we'll find it in their bedroom six months later. ;)

What do you guys use to hold those low freeboard fenders on at the dock? I need to figure something out quick because Eddie Marine still hasn't made the backup plates for the mushroom cleats I was going to put on. On the Vector I just tied them to the windshield frame. HELP

I have mushroom cleats on mine without back up plates and have had no problem as there is really nothing pulling on them if you are just hanging bumpers from them. You could add the back up ring later. Not much near the back of a ProComp to hang a bumper from but you could use the steering wheel for the front one I guess.
Glad the motors up and running. Have fun with the new ride.

The best ones I have found are from Cabela's. They are white plastic and have a couple suction cupsto hold em on and a hunk of foam that lays against the boat. They don't make the shorter ones I have anymore but the ones they have will work if you shape em a little with a heat gun and maybe cut em shorter. Here is a link. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jhtml?id=0001387013891a&navAction=push&navCount=1&indexId=cat21318&podId=0001387&catalogCode=IE&parentId=cat21318&parentType=index&rid=&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fcatalog%2Fitem-link.jhtml.1_A&_DAV=MainCatcat21276&hasJS=true

Fred came up with an interesting challange yesterday. Anyone that takes part in the Merc tours and lunch at BTTW that convinces any Yamaha, OMC, Honda, Non-Merc users to convert over to a Merc motor getss a free prop on Fred !!!!!!!!!! How cool is that ? :D :D :D

Dyno Don, if you get this before you leave, give me a call. Instead of shipping my prop, could you just give it to AnthonySS at BTTW?
I have already okay'd this with him. Save us the shipping.

can we say you convinced me ?
Boy, I sure wish I could make this event. I can see the writing on the wall though, it ain't gonna happen. My boat is still torn apart and I must get it back together for the offshore races at the end of the month in Milwaukee.

To Mike and all the BTTW gang, best wishes for a great event.
Barbara and I would love to have joined you all for what I know will be a fun event for a very worthy cause, but at the weekend I will be at 35,000ft with Qantas, over the Pacific Ocean on my way to OZ again for the Sydney boat show. Ten days home here from the last trip is FAR too short, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do for your sponsors.
Mike, I will call you when I get back and might even see you at the Rumble if you go.I will be back in Cinti on the friday night. My son Pete and his Miamitown Mates will be rumbling there too.
Again,to all, raise lots of money, have fun,run fast and be safe.

My partners wife just had a baby yesterday so I thought I could'nt come up untill late Friday, now a big customer of mine needs some freight delivered Saturday so I might have to work Sat too. I'll still try to make it for Sat. depending on how I feel. I guess I can't bitch about being busy with many people losing thier jobs, but this kinda sucks. Just venting, Later, Dave

I was really looking forward to it but I got slammed at the last minute with work.
Greg may've been complaining about the long drive, but I'd rather have been driving w/ them than here working, trust me ;)
I made sure he took some strings and decals to go with the guitar - here's hoping it raises a lot for the Alzheimer's foundation!

Thats great!!!!
I really wish I would have stayed Saturday instead of leaving in the morning and boating on the Mississippi on the way home. Then I would have avoided the rock pile I hit with my boat:(
Mike,
That fantastic! Congratulations!!
