hey guys i need some help. i have a 87 switzer ski 17.5ft vee hull and i am running a 225 promax and i need some props. what pitch would a good choice be. i have been looking at three diff props all mazco RE'S, two 3 bladers which are 26" and 29" and one 4 blader which is 24", would these props work well and out of the three which would be the fastest, and which would be the most economical on gas and best all around prop. if these props are not good choices any recomendations? any help would be greatly appricated.thanks guys, chad

Is that Switzer going to stay up rite? The one I had was a pain to keep from walk with a 150hp. Were are you at? If your close I have a RE 28 you can try.

I would reccomend a 3 blade chopper. A 4 blade will probably generate too much ass lift, and have a tendency to walk. I have a couple of 26's if you want to try one. Ed, (619)469-5300 propdocs@hotmail.com
I really don't like Mazcos but out of the three the RE 3 29P should go the fastest unless the boat weights a ton. For all around the 26 would be the best for me.
