For those of you that don't know or use this, the New Posts (http://forums.screamandfly.com/forums/search.php?s=&action=getnew) feature on the forums is very useful. Instead of just looking for new posts when you log on, just use that link and the forum will collect all new posts since your last visit. It's that easy!

Also: The Today's Posts (http://forums.screamandfly.com/forums/search.php?s=&action=getdaily) function does the same, but simply gathers posts from the start of the current day.

Greg,
What happened to the feature that changed the color from yellow to grey when you come and go? I really miss that one.

Tom,

I'm not sure what feature you're referring to... Could you give me more details?

Mendo,

"New Posts" will collect all posts created since your last visit, regardless of how much time has passed. So, if you haven't visited the forums in 5 days and you use that function, you'll get a LOT of posts.

"Today's Posts" collects all new posts since the start of the day (depending on your time zone), which is midnight. So, it will collected posts that are a maximum of less than a day old, regardless of how long it has been since your last visit.

Greg,
It was sort of the same thing your doing now with the new posts feature your doing now. Before you could go in to General discussion, tech, ect. and the threads would be yellow if someone added a comment since you were there last. If no one added a comment it would be grey. All of this happened if you left the site and then came back.

Tom,

It's still the same, only the non-active posts have blue icons, and the recent active ones have orange icons.

checkmate, i have had similar issues.

Originally, I solved the grey out problem by waiting for the entrance page to fully load before going to the forums...

however now, even after the entrance page fully loads, I click on the forums, it says that I last visited 1 minute ago or the current time... and all the new posts are now greyed out...

They never turn grey for me. What did you do? Is there something in user profile that you click on?
