Just to let you all know,
We added more enhancements to the Gallery section, including some design changes and table changes that will organize the individual galleries better.
For example, this is the Mercury Verado Gallery (http://forums.screamandfly.com/Gallery/showgallery.php?cat=3031&password=)
List of improvements:
x Improved database speed - removed unnecessary query for every comment displayed
x ECards - expire after period of time
x ECards - email notification of read card
x Avatars pulled from forums (for comments)
x Signatures pulled from forums (for comments)
x Display photo data only if present (no blank fields)
x Expand/Collapse categories on main index
x Improved Approve Page / Bulk Actions layout - toggle for switching default choice
x Option to turn on/off preview of next/prev photos on showphoto
x Option to turn on/off slideshows
x Template for thumbnail display
x Admin Options - added acceptable file types for multimedia files
x Admin Options - added acceptable file types for image files
x Subscribe to Gallery - users can subscribe to receive emails of new uploads to a category
x Change Albums layout to a gallery style with thumbnails
x Removed option to have Members Gallery show all photos by default - Members Galleries display only images uploaded to that category with a link to search for all of a users photos (this is for consistency and simplification of code - also this was one of the most confusing options to our users)
x Updated Members Gallery templates (uses new thumbnail template)
x Updated Gallery templates (uses new thumbnail template)
x Modified formatppdate to allow for custom date formats in call
x Categories template gets facelift to use menu class for column headings
x Mods to the popup code to allow for use outside just help.
x Slideshow has been seperated from showphoto and made into its own template - making it much faster and requiring less processing.
x Improved Slideshow when no headers requested (formats page properly)
x Slideshow uses medium image when available
x Added code to trim titles to 22 characters when displayed in showgallery
x Scan database feature to resync photo/comment usernames from user database
x Database enhancements - Removed two queries for each profile retrieved for comments on vB systems.
x Improved template formatting
x Do not display quick preview when no prev or next images are in category (also, do not display empty cells)
x IMG tag add for bb code
