I have been wondering what does it mean to blueprint a hull. I hear it mentioned every once in a while.

John,
"Blueprinting a hull" can be a very loose term, but generally it means to make the bottom of a boat uniform, true, 100% level (where it should be), blemish free, and sharpen the edges of the strakes, pad or sponsons, and chines.

So pretty much its just squaring up an older hull?
