This maybe a stupid question but is this a good hull? I have seen a lot of them but just wondered. I have my eyes on a light lay out hull that was the Daytona teams backup hull. Any of the eliminator guys please post some pics. Thanks!!

The 19 Daytona is probably the winningest Jet ever. The 21 is a good boat also like all the Daytonas.

I bought an Eliminator Daytona 19' in 1991 with a 2.4L Bridgeport added thereafter. The boat was fantastic. Seats 5-6, has minimal storage, and runs 80s. My son has the boat now, and I still love the boat, and love to ride in it. Very stable, and has outstanding (IMHO) lines. If you buy it, I think you will love it. Just my $.02.:)

That depends on what power, gear ratio and setup you have.Do you want top speed, allaround or drag or power to carry 4 people well.Generally a 26 pitch wheel is good all around.32's to 34's for top end.22-24 for drag.

mines a liberator with a 200 2.5 fish. minor mods are light flywheel, 4 petal rubber coated cages and steel reeds, relieved exhaust, 34cc heads. i've ran alot of props and i like the ron hill drags because i can run them with the propshaft even with the pad and still have good holeshot without cavatating all day. i dont know how good they will carry weight though. i have a 3 and 4 blade 28. this boat is very weight sensitive, even 1 passenger makes a big difference. im wanting a weight carrying prop, maybe the hill props will work, havent got a chance to run them with a load yet. the best prop for passengers so far has been a 26 trophy. it slips pretty bad though on takeoff. other than that i really liked it. it just seems that the boat, for speed, likes to run the motor high instead of using much trim. it weighs at the lake and about 8 gallons of gas, 1600 lbs and has 12 inches of setback. i think these boats need a hydraulic jack to have the best of both worlds. thanks for replying... :) :) hows the 23 coming along??
