Just to let you all know that Brad Tressler of ST Cloud rebuilt my 96- 2.5 260 and with only a few hours of break in ran 113 mph on the GPS on my old 94 STV with a 30" lab cleaver last Friday. WE did not even trim the engine out. Many thanks to Brad and Jim Ruck for a job well done. A 32" lab cleaver is on the way.

Its getting one of the old (2001) motors off Andys cat,it has less than 100 hrs on it ,un less someone buys it befor i get it on there then I'll just put a new one on.I have some extra 15" mid's and case's I thought maybe a new drag power head ?? It cost to be TOP DOG,Will just have to see what Happens?? I would like to get someone to drive Thats been 120MPH ++++,I don't want anyone getting HURT,Boats and Motors are easyily replaced FRIENDS AREN'T !! BE SAFE ! john

were any of you guys boating on the lake back in the mid 80s? i spent some time there myself with a small group of guys w/hydrostreams and a few other boats i dont remember but then i moved back to ny great bunch of guys would do anything for you and we even made a trip or two to the swanny river (not sure if i spelled it correctly) there was a restaurant on the north end of the lake we would hang out at i think it was called the turtle or something like that is it still there?

been boating there ever since. The only one of us who was there in the 80's is Joe Ward. I'm sure you have either met or seen him on the lake. He's about the only one who still comes out from that whole group. I would imagine you were probably running with them. The good ol turtle is still there, hasn't really changed at all.:cool:

Joe Ward just retired that baja about 3 months ago. We had to pry it out of his hands:D he loved that little boat. We all usually get together on Sundays and once in a while during the week. If you make it down this way let us know and we will all get together.:cool:
