I,m setting up a Hydrostream Vulture with a 200 Merc. On the IHR website one guy says 6 and one says you need at least 10 to fly this bow. Anybody have suggestions one this setup???

...one inch of setback from edge of transom to point of propshaft for every foot of boat. This does not mean 20" of setback for a 20' boat (most have a certain amount of setback built in), and it will not necessarily work on all hulls, but it's a good starting point. I would think 10" would be better than than 6" on that hull, but individual hull weight, whether or not it has a full interior, how much stuff you carry and where it is in the hull could change this figure a considerable amount either way.

I agree with RR. A buddy has a voyager with a 2.4. Its a bit heavier than your boat but he ran a 6, then a 10, and ended up adding 2" spacers for a total of 12". It runs great. Since your hull is a bit lighter I'd think 10 would be a great place to start. I know another guy with a 2.5 200 on a voyager and he runs 7" total, but the 2.5 has a bit more power. I think Aquaholic told me he ran best with 10" total on the Vegas he use to have. Hope this helps.
