I have found 150 looper early 90's with bad gears. any history with these motors? I have a triumph 190 with a140 crossflow, thinking about saving it from a merc dealers old engine rack. He will show me comp test, looks good under hood, $450. What do you boys think of engine? thanks Mac.

I want to put 140 on gt-150 i just started on and put the 150 on triumph that my wife and i pull the kids around on. The gt-150 is a toy i can afford, if i don`t screw up buying the broke 150. Any comments would help about that style looper. thanks Mac.

my friend had a 150 fast strike on his jcraft and it worked good he never had any problems with it but that is the only one that i have seen .that sounds like a cheap price but why not post in the buy and sell section asking for a gear case or parts to rebuild that one before you buy it and cant find one for it .

If the rest of the motor is good then thats a good price. We've got a '93 Intrder 175 Evinruse, been a great motor aince we got it new.
