open deck on a closed deck mid?(omc)

hellp!

hey guys as if you dont know i blew my 1994 johnson venom (closed deck) in the summer

i bought another power head but it was an older open deck motor so the cooling is different

when i put it on the mid section i noticed that the original closed deck motor's pisser is all internal and the open deck motor has a hose running down from the top of the motor..

should i plug the closed deck pisser some how?

too much water leavin the motor bad?

No, the original is actually incoming water.

it will have no effect on the water in the power head rite

i was just thinking of that the pisser comes up from the pump on the closed deck rite?
