I sell the 984 Bosch pumps for $165. That's a very good price.

I run a Barry Grant EFI pump#172305. It draws 7-8 Amps+ puts out 125PSI unregulated! It works for me:D

The Barry Grant pump does not support as nearly much horsepower (flow as much ) as the Bosch 984 or even the older Bosch that came on the late 260's . I think that was a 949 and I believe they were rated at 600hp. Its closer to the little Bosch that came on the early 260s and ProMax's.

Anyway the BG is rated at only 42 gph @ 40 psi it drops off a bunch at higher pressure & 550 HP ( thats 4 stroke HP not 2 stroke HP). The 984 is around 800HP (4 stroke) and rated at 44 GPH @ 90 PSI . The BG has a 3/8 inlet while the Bosch is 1/2" or so. They really don't compare and at $165 you are getting a whole lot more pump. I think the BG is actually a rebranded Walbro also unlike their actual BG made pumps.
