Well I just got my brochure from Bassett in the mail today. Apparently they do not make water jacketed headers.?.
I know www.boatheaders.com has some, but they are about $1,700 for them. I was hoping to find some a bit cheaper than that. Any help appreciated.

P.S. I hope that this thread does not turn out like the last one I posted about the Impeller.

Pics can be seen here

Instead of just having water injected into them, each pipe is surrounded by cooling water and then is dumped into the exhaust at the header. This way I can run them under my hood, BUT I am not paying $1,790. for them.

if your running aunder the hood. why not switch to barr or similar headers and manifolds. looking at about 150 for the riser and 250 for the manifold.

usually used on regular inboards. no reason i can think of that they would not work. let me know what they want for prices i might be able to beat them for ya!

Do you have any pictures of the boat? Sounds like a great redo job. Did checkmate make alot of these. I was standing at a auto parts place when a guy pulled up with an original carlson jet 455 olds all original he wanted 3500 for it. Boat was a gold metalflake. I still wonder if I made a mistake not purchasing but salt tears up the older jet boats. Rick
