I despise the Imitation Racing League.

But, I do appreciate what Tony George did, in being an intregal part in bringing F1 back to the US.

Tony George=$$$$$$$$$

My prediction, CART ends, George wins.

Hopefully, they bring back road courses for God's sake.

That crapwagon site is funny.
I always did like the Champ cars better. Those screamin engines I guess.
What do think will happen to the stockholders?

I saw that CART lost about $85,000,000 last year. I would bet Mari Hulman George has spent at least ten times that amount filling Tony's checkbook since 1995. Think of all the races or drivers they could have promoted with that cash instead of using it to ensure Indy would be the big fish in a tiny pond.

But the IRL vs. CART war sure worked out good for NASCAR don't you think. Their alliance with the IRL always made good business sense when CART was viable. I wonder if it will continue.

Cart/OWRS needs to get back to more road corses. Way too many street circuits.

I wonder if George will make a bid for CART

I agree with CDave and LaserModVee comments regarding CART. It appears TG has already made a bid for CART. Probably for the cool lucrative street and road course venue dates. That will let him move away from an all oval series. I'm sure he has made promises to Andretti and Penske to do just that for their support.

As far as I'm concerned the IRL and TG can go to hell.

I see that Tony George didn't get the job done in the courtroom. Reminds me of Brunswick and the OMC deal.

Racing fans should hope the OWRS does well.
