Does anyone know where i can get nozzles or information on setting it up on my motor if it can be done? it is a 1980 merc 200 with heads reeds and a light flywheel. And does anyone know what low speed jets belong in this thing? it runs to fat on the bottom.

Chuck Goodman at Nitrox has years of experience with nitros on outboards, especially Mercs. I'd get in touch with him on specifics of your engine and priorities and take his advice. Powerheads and parts are too expensive to go doing a lot of experimenting.

The best advise on N2O is don't do it. Two strokes don't live long that way. Cheap add-on, makes a lot of power and will break parts. You are starting with a 24 year old engine that is mostly stock. Not a good foundation to build a race motor. I know it can be done and I will get blasted for being negative, but tell me I am wrong if you can get one season on the laughing gas wtih no problems on that motor.

Thanks Brad. I spoke to Chuck and he gave me the same advise. Eventhough my motor is fresh it is not advised to use nos on stock components. Do you have any idea in jet size for a non fingerported 200 with reeds and heads.

Which ones are you looking for? High Speed or Idle circuit? Are the carbs stock? If they are stock....try starting out with say .086 on high speed and .044 or so on the idle. THIS IS JUST A BASELINE. Check the high speed in the usual way or jet til it four strokes then go down a couple of sizes. The idles.....seat of the pants is the best. Not really going to hurt the motor if your fat or lean on the idle side. Just won't run well on the bottom. Lean the idles until the motor coughs and go back down a couple of sizes.

Don't know if I answered your question or not, but here you go.
