i was down in florida last week and didnt want to come back, wanted to set up camp under a palm tree for the rest of my life...
I store the rx all winter long (125,000 original km's) , these pics are after a nice treatment of Meguires Gold Class.... stuff works wonders. Now all i need is to do a t2 swap or (ehhem 3 rotor....) but the n/a's still got some good life in her and Ill keep it till it blows. (knock on wood)

the n/a cars apparently last quite abit longer than the turbo's while maintaining their reliability. i want turbo power but dont have the cash for a swap nor the repairs once i get the not so reliable turbo...
cant wait to haul this thing outa storage

Thanks, It has a 12a with a mukini 44 sidedraft and a custom header. The primary tubes run the length of the car and collect into a flowmaster racing muffler. I do have a supertrap that I can remove from the megafone, however even with it in its still pretty loud. When I put everything together I took some time to match the ports and that really did make a difference. It revs really quick. That and due to it only weighing just over 1700 pounds, makes it pretty responsive.

Ultimately, a T2 with some goodies would be the way to go. Someday....

I also have a '71 Lotus Europa. It has the Gordini Hemi motor with twin webers, high compression, hot cam, lots of goodies. It only weighs around 1300 pounds. Typical english car though, drive it for a day and then work on it for a week.

On the other hand, the Mazda has been wonderful. I have run the hell out of that car for years and it just keeps on going.

Sorry those other pictures are so large. I'm still trying to find an ideal pixel width for posting.

This is a pic of my Europa. Taken awhile back at our old apartment. Since then we have moved into our new house which thankfully has a garage. Its amazing how much you miss having one.
