Hey all,

How here has experience with BBK headers? Was thinking about getting the shorties for the Camaro...

....the shorties never make the horsepower that traditional long tubes will.

not sure about the slowmaros but on a mustang they are worth a few hp over stock and if head, cam and or intake work is done they pick up even better. Like rick said however long tube are where the power is. Did you allready do the other exhaust mods?

I know longtubes are much better, but I don't want the hassle of installing them, converting to heated O2 sensors, having a custom Y-pipe made, ground clearance problems, etc. I already have a Borla cat back, and an LT4 Hotcam/1.6 RR's is another item of interest.

Greg, did you ever talk to Chris?

Do you know that his Vette is now one of the fastest in the north east.

Greg, I have BBK's on my Cobra, they sound awesome, they were on the car when I bought it so I can't tell you any info on HP gain but the sound is enough to sell me. They are the full length headers, with my car lowered 2" I do have some issues pulling in some parking lots.

Look into the Mac shorty headers. You will probally like the shorty's over the longtubes where you pull with you car it will not lose as much bottem end.
