fuel vent

Just got little BANSHEE, it has two built in fuel tanks in the front . What I need to know is , does the vent hose for the two tanks have to be coming out of the boat from above or can it come out the back of the boat .....................................

If you are talking about venting out the transom, don't do it.
Had one on a boat close to the top of the transom, kept getting water in the tank. I finally relized that every time I came off plane the water would come in the vent. Maybe someone else has had a different experience. Good luck:)
