I herd that someone is converting yamaha ignitions to fit an omc.
Any one know who and how much?

Bob Kottman makes and sales the complete kit. Everyone I have talked to has been very pleased with the results.

what are the benifits of this conversion???

You do away with a lot of expensive high failure parts and replace with them with what has been bulletproof ones. No longer have piston failures caused by improper firing. The engines start, idle and run better. Kottman's program includes a light weight flywheel. Hope this helps.
