Does anyone know the dates for the radical boat reunion in palatka florida in 2004? on the event page for the coverage last year it says that it will be on june 21 but that is a monday.

how many from bama are planning on coming to RBR? looking forward to that run. i won't be able to make it to the toys for tot run because my boat will not be completed and i'll have to work.

The Bama Gang usually brings about 10 boats we are trying to get more each year, the RBR is a great event. what type boat are you running? Also I have a good looking Hydrostream Vector for sale. 1979 been restored center seat, GPS at 87 with 200 merc. Boat and trailer only (no Motor) $2000. I have a custom built 18ft tunnel (yellow) with a 200merc. It is in the process of having some mods done right now. I just got it a couple of weeks ago, but i have heard that it has been up abvoe 100 (gps) with another motor. Unfortunately i did not get that motor with the boat. I have a buddy that just got a 17ft vector, but i will keep it in mind. I hope to get some pics up soon. Do you ever make it to the suwaunnee river. That is where we usually run. Do you have pics on here of your boat?

Yes we have made 2 trips up the Swannee from U.S. 19 (Fanning Springs) to the Santa Fe I think the last one was in Sept. we had a great time will probably do it again when the weather warms up again. We run the Chattahoochee River check out the Smiths Bend Ralley thread that's our event be looking for it we would love to have some of you guys come up to see us. We aren't that far from you. We are in the southeast corner of Alabama, ( Dothan Al.) Also look at the Chattahoochee event pics they are just west of Tallahassee we have been to see them a couple of times. Great bunch of people. Yes my Hydrostream is on the under 20 ft listings its White with blue listed under the screenname of justmercme my son listed it for me. My son has a mirage also with a 280 merc. the name of the boat is "Nervous Mother" most of the RBR gang knows him as "Itchy" Goog luck with the boat, the GPS of 100 with a 200 hp is good so far I have seen 92 with mine but I haven't given up yet. I usually put in at sandy point on the santa fe, then run up to rock bluff or one of the sand bars. i see you are from g'ville, do you go there also? if so, what are you running?

The RBR04 will be the May 21 ,2004 week end Friday will be a meet and greet with refreshments [beer] and the worlds fastest dock racing, Rus will provide beer and soft drinks. for event guests. Saterday will be a tour out to the sand bar to see who shows off best. last year we even had HEMI hydros showing off. the back to the Host hotel for an Italian feast. then more beer and refreshment. and a Bikini contest for cash and tips that will be M.C.ed by Parker. Prizes and give aways and some contests. Sunday we will have tech breakfast were some of the best technitions in the industry will sit with you have a meal and give your their best tech advise on props, hulls , motors. race statigies. and more. May 21st is the weekend before Memorial Day. A lot of the Bama gang make a trip from Columbia, AL to Appalachicola on the Chattahoochee River Memorial Day weekend. I'm not sure if we can make back to back weekend runs. Keep us posted on any date changes.

Barr151, I am finishing a complete rebuild of an '85 Checkmate Enticer with an old '75 Merc 150. Rebuilding the trailer too....
I've never owned a boat in Florida, so every lake, river, and ramp will be a new experience for me next year.
I will completely finish the interior over the Christmas break and hopefully put a big dent in the trailer touch ups. Then I need to purchase a jackplate before I remount the motor. I'm hoping to have it in the water by the end of January.

Well your in luck, beacuse your in gainesville, you have lake santa fe not to far. its a pretty big lake, we do a lot of test and tune there. then you have santa fe river, st. johns (palakta) and the suwaunnee not far away. all this with in a 45 minute drive. we go the santa fe and run up to the suwaunne. let me know if you need a hand with the rebuild, i'll be glad to give a hand.
