Needles & seats....

Another thread brought up the "Parker" needles & seats. We used to install these on ALL high performance Mercs in the '80's. They were expensive, but worked. They had a flat rubber seal on the needle instead of a piot. The seats were shaped different also. Now the question... I have not been able to locate these for some time. Anybody got a source and a price? I've done a google search with no luck. If there are better ones available, I'm open. Thanks in advance.

I used Parker needles and seats years ago also. I believe their still available. Let me see if the old # is still right and get back to you.

What was so much better about them? You explained how they were different but what did they do that was so much better?
