any one out there draggin a stock 225 pro max? I have a drag I go to every year and wonder if what I read about running a 24 yamaha for drags will work on my set up. Running a xb 2003 allison in low 13 ens. I don't want to mess with the ECU, because of need a light flywheel, so I am running all stock. I am just using my 26 throphy now..

Ask John Dorn and Sebastion,
both run 225 promaxs on triads
and both have won trophys and cash drag racing !!
I believe with E.T.'S ??

Sebastion is his good friend so what he will tell ya from both their experience. Sebastion reads but doesn't post.
Maybe that will change??????????

There are several running a similar setup at KDBA in the 13 sec bracket. They run the 24 Yamaha. Take some extra weight. They have to add weight to keep from breaking out of the bracket.

Hello Bill, I drag race my 97 xb2003 w/ 225 supermag.
I did not have any luck obtaining low 13 sec. with stock ecu box
but with modified ecu it will run in mid 12 sec. with 30cc heads and 24" performance prop. - thats turning approx. 7800 - 8000 rpm.
