Baja, go to you user cp, and then Edit Options. One of the options is to "Change Avitar". You have 2 options, you can give an URL of the on line address of an avitar you want ot use, or you can download a .JPG file from your computer. You may have to resize it to a small size.
The picture under the name bit is changed in your signature section. It must be an online URL.
