Thought I'd put up some pics of my Laser, it is starting to take shape and I feel like I've made some progress. i started out with a solid bare hull, and parts scrounged form just about everywhere. I have yet to put together the 2.4, but I am just lacking a couple things and it can be assembled. The boat was originally side steer, but I did'nt care for the way that the wheel was so close to the gunnel, and some big holes in the dash, so I did center steer. Just need some pro hoses to complete the steering. I am also trying to find some Ally or Mirage seats in yellow and black to match. Got to do some repair work to the bottom, fix up the trailer and a few more odds and ends and I'll be out there. :D :D :D

natzx7,

That is one fine job you did on that ride.
Your attention to detail is impeccable it looks
like all the hex heads are in the same direction.
I was wondering if you gave any thought to stainless
socket caps instead? They do look high tech.

Steve.

Nat that looks sweet. What kind of guages are those? You do plan on going more then 80 right, or is it youre just gonna use my Mirage while youre watching it for me? LOL. Keep up the good luck. Steve

Thanks alot guys......I appreciate it, alot of nights in the garage. GT150, I originally planned on using the socket heads, but I coulden't find stainless at the time, now I know where to get some so I will be replacing the hex heads with them.

Those are auto meter gauges that originally came from a Scarab, and I have never seen them anywhere else. I wish I knew where to get a replacements in case one happens to fail.
