I just had an opportunity to have a telephone conversation with Kevin at Progression. I hung up with the impression that he is truly a genuine person. His comments were not meant in any way, shape, or form to be demeaning, sarcastic or inflamitory. In his passion to share his experiences he may have presented his thoughts in a way in which some of us, including myself, found offensive, but that certainly was not his intentions.
Kevin has, like many others, that were present at the meeting, years of experience racing on a professional level, and truly understands the inner workings of these sanctioning bodies.
He thinks it would be great to have racing come back to Long Island, and surely would support any effort on our part to accomplish our task.
He is a wealth of knowledge, and we need people like him and the other professionals (ie George Linder, Joey Impessia, Rich Lurhs, John Cohen), to guide and support us through this maze.
Oh yeah I forgot Jerry................................
