I don't see any grease fittings.
Is there any maintenance to be done?

There's grease fittings on the side of the saddle and at the tilt tube and the top of the trim cly's and the dist. if your gonna run it in salt water you need to make sure everything is greased

I'll look again, but I looked pretty hard for a fitting where the motor pivots (where the steering cable goes through). Also, the Merc manual doesn't show any maintenance to this area. I just thought that was strange since it is a moving part.

Merc didn't install fittings at the tilt tube in the early engines but I thought they started when they changed the clamp design. The 75 engine might not have two fitting like the later ones. My old 74 was lubed when you lubed the steering cable but it is the older clamp design.
